About donnyanderson

Lindsay, Canada

Donny was born in Toronto and raised in Lindsay and is now 27 years old.

He started his career by singing the National Anthem at local hockey games.

Donny has sung at many fairs, festivals, benefits, jamborees and contests all around Ontario at venues such as the Civic Centre in Ottawa, The Phoenix Concert Hall in Toronto, The Royal York Hotel in Toronto and Breakfast Television in Toronto to name a few.

He has opened for many major recording artists like Terri Clark, Doc Walker, Julian Austin, Amanda Stott, Charlie Major and Frank Leahy.

Donny entered and won the 1st Annual Havelock Country Jamboree Singing Showdown, which gave him a spot on the Havelock Jamboree in 2003 performing between Quartette and Tommy Hunter.

Currently, Donny is working on an album and doing a lot of pre-production work.

He has spent 6 months in Nashville TN. In 2004, writing with other writers and meeting with Major Publishers and Labels.

Donny’s musical influences are LeAnn Rimes, Bryan White, Terri Clark, and Keith Urban.
