Think Squarepusher meets The Ken Vandermark 5 on the rocks with a twist of Miles Davis. The quartet is comprised of Brian Niebuhr (electric trumpet), Ray Pandocchi (tenor sax), Jon Marchese (lowend) & Dave Z Marsalek (traps). Since forming in Spring 2004, Doppler Shift has been busy producing two critically acclaimed full length albums, Physics [2005], Resistor [IZM Records, 2008], promoting and playing all over Chicago {Martyrs, Reggie’s, Beat Kitchen, Darkroom, Subterranean}, and touring the Midwest.
