He began to toy around with Hip-Hop at the age of 13 as a part time hobby, rapping with friends at school in the morning, at lunch periods, and after school. At the age of 16, Streetz called a local radio station that used to run a phone in rap battle 3 nights a week. Dethroning the champion at the time, Streetz went on to continue to win the competition for an entire month before being retired by the DJ's at the radio station... no one could beat him. This is the moment that Streetz figured out that this could be more than just a hobby. At the age of 23, D. Streetz has been polishing his style and is ready for the world to hear the music that is deemed by some as "some of the hottest unsigned music out of Baltimore".
