(East Koast) was born in Downtown Brooklyn in the notorious Gowannas Projects, and later raised in the Manhattanville Projects of Harlem. At the age of three his mother became a widow, with 4 children and no husband life was hard and money was tight. Terrell was always a rebellious child, always questioning the rules. He was stabbed at the age of 11, by an off duty NYC police officer. Like many others raised in the Hip Hop culture, he had a love for basket ball and music but abandoned those things to become a drug dealer. In his adolescence he gained Knowledge of self, from a man named Divine of the Nation of Gods and Earths. It was then that he was given the name True Life no affiliation to La Familia. He later began to develop his rhyming skills and his love for hip hop. He was known early on in his career as True Life aka Major Thoughts. He later changed his name to Lord Life due to the fact that he never thought to trademark, a name that he believed to be original. The name Mr. Pressure Point, is a name created as his street alter ego, complete with a different rhyme style and voice; while Lord Life rhymes on a more conscious level, to melodic beats. Lord Life or Mr. Pressure Point, has been in the industry for well over ten years. His start came to him in the early nineties when he became a ghostwriter for his cousin Lamorris, then 11 years old. After sneaking onto Queen Latifah & Naughty by Natures parked tour bus in South Carolina due to the cancellation of a concert, Lamorris free styled for the icons. They immediately took him under their wing, and later introduced him to Lisa Left Eye Lopez RIP of TLC who was already on top of the charts. Left Eye introduced Lamorris, as Malik to a young artist she had been working with named Jamal. One night in the studio, the artist Busta Rhymes created the name Illegal for the young group. True LifeMajor Thoughts at the time accompanied the young group as their chaperone on Spot date shows, but unexpectedly he helped pen such hits as, Lights camera action, Illegal Will Rock produced by Diamond D of D.I.T.C., Like this and Like that, featured on Monicas debut album and a host of other songs on the Illegal Album. During this time he opened shows at small venues for the Ghetto boys, and Too Short in Alabama. He also accompanied Illegal on the show BOX that Rocks an interactive T.V. video program. That ended when his cousin Malik and him lost contact, and he learned his first real lesson in Hip Hop. He never got any compensation for his ghostwriting, and his ride was now over. He went back home to Harlem NYC and was back at the drawing board. He began to make a name for himself on the streets of Harlem. As a long time member of ASCAP, he attended business seminars at ASCAP that taught him that the game was more about business than fun. With the guidance of Wendy Day and his mentor Kenneth Hale RIP he was able to ward off depression that so often comes with the industry. In the late nineties, he developed a group called Black Chemistry with a bit of a militant flair, which had quite a bit of recognition in the underground world. The group consisted of himself as True Life, and True Nature an artist he met at ASCAP under the management of Asia, the head designer for cybertek, an urban wear company based in Europe. They opened up shows for the group Dead Presidents at small venues. He went to various labels looking to work out a deal but every one wanted him to be more commercial. He wasnt willing to change; he didnt want to portray a negative image for his fans. So he just kept trekking on. He then had a short stint on a public access show called Triad, in which he was a commentator, interviewing college students and others on social issues. He now makes an array of sounds to cater to any record ., or fan. He has a collection of about 385 songs on CD. He has made songs with underground artist and Lo Life founder Thirstin Howl the 3rd, from the MTV show lyricist lounge, as well as Planet Asia, C Rayz Walz of Def Juxs, & Madd Dog Jr .
