Biography

Easton Legacy is composed of five hardworking guys who love nothing more than to make music and have fun. Based in the Merrimack Valley area of Massachusetts (just outside of Boston) Easton Legacy blends soaring melodic choruses like those of New Found Glory and Reggie and the Full Effect with the hard hitting memorable lead guitar lines comparable to Coheed and Cambria. Throw in Synthesizers as powerful as those featured in The Receiving End of Sirens, with live show more like a comeback kid hardcore throw down including spin kicks, guitar flips and keyboard hand stands and you are just scratching the surface of what Easton Legacy looks and sound like. Brian Linehan – Synthesizers, Jesse Graham - Vocals, Rhythm Guitar, Charles Saulters II - Lead Guitars, Joe Flanagan – Bass, Ryan Meloony – DrumsEaston Legacy was formed in the spring of 2004. After a number of months of writing and playing locally the band set out on their first national tour in the summer of 2005. This first tour consisted of dates from Maine to California stopping at a number of the biggest venues in the country. When Easton Legacy finally returned home the decision was made to add another member to expand their sound. Brian Linehan then stepped in on synthesizers to bring in a new edge. After the success of this event Easton Legacy decided to employ the talents of local independent film director Zachary Nolin to record their first music video. Soon enough the video for the band's first single "Code Black" off “Reaction to Turbulence” would be spreading all over the internet receiving a number of honors from the video hosting site www.youtube.com including the #20 most viewed video of the week as well as most discussed. While taking some time off to write new material the band found out in October 2006 that they were chosen as one of Alternative Press' “Top Ten Unsigned Artists of 2006" coming in at #2 featured in issue #223 January, 2007. The band then followed with a featured review in the #25 Feb/Mar 2007 issue of American Music Press (AMP). Immediately after the band used their momentum to tour regionally for a few months including a co-headlining tour with Eyeball records band Going Home and making an appearance on the 2006 Vans Warped tour on the Hot Topic Stage (after being personally chosen by Kevin Lyman), while prepping for a month long East Coast tour spanning almost every state from New Hampshire to Florida. Having returned from the tour the band is currently writing and recording for the follow up to “Reaction to Turbulence” (which to date has independently sold over 1,000 copies from touring along) to be titled “New Nightmares to Challenge Sleep”. With the current line up being the strongest and most creative it’s ever been the band are ready to challenge anything and put the music world in a chokehold. Due to tireless promotion and hard work Easton Legacy has managed to get their music directly into the hands of some the biggest act in alternative music today such as Coheed and Cambria, The Starting Line, Under Oath, Circa Survive, Killswitch Engage, Chiodos, Hawthorne Heights, Thursday and former members of Bayside.
