I make music based on my experiences in life. I grew up in Mt.Vernon,NY around the time Heavy D was making a way in the music game,self-destruction was a movement not a memory. I was able to watch a lot of the best artist in the prime of Hip Hop as well as see the up and coming stars of today. In the height of drugs/gangs hitting the urban community,I ran the streets at a young age that gave me knowledge as well as a rebel edge over most kids in my situation. Both my parents worked for the system, which left me with idle time to get in trouble along side my brother. Even though the community at this time still helped to raise the neighborhood kids,we still got into a lot of mischief.I took a quick shine to music in school, learning the alto sax and the bass cello in Graham Elementary. My drive and ambition was cut short when my family moved to Wilson,NC because the outlets in Entertainment was lost in my outlook. There was no internet at this time or a famous artist in the community. So I lost myself until I left high school for college, and was found again when the industry finally moved to the south from the efforts like JD and Master P. By this time It was about booty shake music and not that NY BoomBap that I was raised on. But I left school for the City life when I took a life changing trip to BK right in the midst of the East coast West coast Beef. It was a heartbreak to wake up and listen to Hot 97 for my first time and they announced Biggie was killed. I had already felt the impact of our lost of 2pac. I looked up to these dudes like big brothers. Since my brother in NC was to busy for me to tag along, and the eldest was locked up in NY. I choose to get advice and wisdom from these artist I looked up to and admired. www.lmtrecords.com © 2015 LMT RECORDS
