Vancouver Island born soul singer Emily Spiller draws from all genres of music to create her jazz, blues, soul, roots infused sound. With a rich, sweet voice like no other, she quickly grabs the attention of her audience in any room she plays. By layering vocal percussion and harmonies with her loop machine, Emily builds a unique sound that leaves you wanting more. A versatile vocalist, Emily has collaborated with acclaimed DJ Shawn Ward (UK & EU), Vancouver producer Graham Kitson of All Tribes Mission, Producer/Composer Adam Percy (Wonderbro), and recently enjoyed success with the release of 3 co-written tracks on French duo Urihani's album "Music For The Planet" (2009). Since 2003, Emily has toured in Canada, China, Australia, & New Zealand. In 2007, she released her first EP "LIVE At The Apartment", which garnered airplay in Canada and New Zealand. She has recently received a FACTOR grant for her latest EP "The Wonderbro Remixes" (2010). After 3 months in Australia promoting her album "The Get Go" in 2009, Emily toured British Columbia, Canada in the Summer of 2010. The title track has been placed in two independent Canadian films "Zombie Punch", and "Lucky Man". Her latest success: A five song licensing deal with Arpix Media for Padworx's "Bram Stoker's Dracula" ipad app, released in October 2010. Emily will return to Australia in February 2011 for The Australian Blues Festival & Nannup Music Fest. From there, she will fly home to showcase at Canadian Music Week in Toronto in March 2011. Emily is currently writing her fourth album.
