About ERIN DANEELE
With a sound well worth taking notice, Erin Daneele is a rising star. After taking the time to fine tune her God-gifted abilities as an artist, Erin Daneele has begun to establish her presence in the industry becoming ever more distinguished as a singer-songwriter-performer in her own right with each passing day.
Born in Boston, Erin Daneele started singing at the age of two, and as she got older, she tackled the art of songwriting. It was while singing in the church choir, however, that she realized she had the talent to pursue her dream to become a professional singer. With the support of her family, she sought out to make her dream a reality.
The decision to pursue music soon paid dividends. She was a recipient of the Berklee School of Music Summer Youth Scholarships for Talent and Excellence in Music, enabling her to seriously begin her pursuit of a music career right out of high school. She was later awarded a full-tuition scholarship to attend Berklee School of Music, a prestigious music school located in Boston, MA, where she obtained a degree in Music Business Management.
Influenced by artists such as The Stylistics, Diana Ross, The Supremes, Minnie Riperton, Aaliyah, Yolanda Adams and Kirk Franklin, Erin Daneele's voice has a refreshing quality with an ability to touch one's soul.
The songbird has captivated audiences at Berklee’s 2009 Commencement Concert honoring Smoky Robinson, Linda Ronstadt, Luis Guerra, and George Massenburg;
Laura Bush’s Coming Up Taller Awards Ceremony at the White House, Governor Deval Patrick’s Inaugural Ball, and the Boston Celtics Championship Award Gala to name a few.
Erin Daneele has lent her talents to create a radio jingle for Hot 97.7 FM, a local Hip-Hop & R&B radio station, and to sing background vocals for pop artist Jojo.
Most recently, she impressed the judges of Gospel Dream, a talent search series on the Gospel Music Channel, and was selected among thousands to participate in the competition; a feat that affirmed her talent and fueled her drive as she was chosen as a top ten finalist.
Lyrically, she speaks to young people, young women in particular. Erin Daneele's musical content is based mainly upon life experiences: relationships, love, and growing up. She believes that through her music she can have a powerful influence on people. Erin Daneele says, "As an up and coming artist from Boston, I embrace the opportunity to add a positive change to the music scene, allowing the public to feel my words and music."
To fulfill her vision of love, she ministers through song on the Church of the Midnight Hour broadcast on 590 AM WEZE, a local Christian radio station, every Monday night from 11pm-12am. She also mentors students in the Berklee City Music program, encouraging inner-city children to work hard and follow their dreams, just as she’s doing.
Prevalently, Erin continues writing and has a debut album in the works.
