Tony Sciuto went on to tour with The Little River Band (LRB) from 1990-1999 as the band co-writer/pianist/#2 vocalist.
Throughout these years Michael Sciuto (bass guitar & piano) wrote and released his solo effort, Living on the Edge. He also won the coveted MARSHALL STUN SOLO BASS CONTEST for his awesome bass playing abilities in 1987. Michael Sciuto is still considered to be one the WORLDS BEST bass players.
Considering Brandon A. Sciuto's background and the well known family name in LA-NY-Nashville, you'd think he'd use it....however, he resides in SWFL after pushing himself from 1993-2003 to make it "big" in music. BA is SWFL's best known REALTOR & Mortgage Planner...he also was married in June 2004 at 31 years of age. BA made it BIG in October of 2005 when his first son, Koda Jackson was born! Then four (4) years later he went better than double platinum when his second son Sauter Maxwell was born on December 18th, 2009.
Musically, it's ALL about writing, recording, and playing at least 50% originals at every live show.
He also calls himself Brandon Anthony to keep it simple while making his own way based upon his own songwriting...staying out of the "family shadow" while taking care of his family by allowing his wonderful Costa Rican wife, Donna Alexandra, raise the kids as a stay at home mother.
Brandon Anthony Band only wants to play once a month on their own terms these days.
BA has and still records with several great record producers i.e. Rob Boldt, Rip Rock & Alex G, and most recently the European sensation Tony Catania (known for launching Scatman and new SWFL electro-pop / alternative band Phoenix Block).
BA is in the studio this year 2010-2011 preparing to release a double album titled BA 10, which will contain over 20 songs spanning from 2000-2010!
Stay tuned for BA 10 which is the sophomore follow up to 1999's Lovestruck album. The debut EP contained 7 songs and was partially recorded on the beach in Naples, FL on a primitive Roland VS-880. His debut effort sold over 2,000 copies, respectfully...the CD Release party was on 5th Avenue at Paddy Murphy's in Naples, FL where there was a line almost stretching two (2) blocks to get a glimpse of Anthony strumming his tunes out with his Taylor 812-C around his neck. The CD release party was covered by SWFL's best modern rock station, 99X...owned by Beasley Broadcasting. Brandon Anthony sold over 250 units that very night as it was only the beginning of his ever changing writing/stories/melodies/style that he brings to the forefront of every effort.
