Farewell Republic We were born into this thing No choice in the matter it seems We were born into this machine Moving pieces reach deeply Touch past our tough skin The soul traps the body Say farewell to your republic Because you have no agency Say farewell to your republic You are not free We can rage soft or quietly We can riot against monogamy But your game is up You have been lost for too long To be anything But a product of this power's sea Say farewell to your republic Because you have ...

Their sound does not fall neatly into any category. It is a mixture of a wide range of influences interpreted through the lens of their generation. They recently recorded their first demos (mixed by grammy winning engineer Gus Oberg) and have been building a fan base in Ann Arbor through their energetic live shows and have headlined the city's biggest rock club on multiple occasions. The Farewell Republic Roadshow has already begun to make believers at venues along the east coast, including The Living Room in Providence and a sold out co-headlining show at The Black Cat (backstage) in Washington, DC. In the near future, they hope to bring this energy to the rest of the country. "It's bandwagon time, kids." - The Michigan Daily "[Farewell Republic] has a fresh, unique sound that's contagious. Once you start listening, it gets hard to stop because you can really hear how much fun they're having. It's that communicable energy that makes them so endearing, fun to listen to, and is sure to bring them a ton of success."-Lincoln Boehm (WCBN Radio 88.3) "Farewell Republic leads the listener through dynamic epics with their emotive power and studio expertise." - Michael Kleinman (WQHS Radio) You might have heard us on: WCBN (Michigan), WQHS (UPenn), WLFM (Lawrence College), WMFO (Tufts University), WSLR (Sarasota, Florida)
