From a very young and tender age, Felicia Smith (Fee Smith) has always loved music. Initially drawn to classical music through dance classes and recitals, primed in soul by her mother (who listened exclusively and continuously to MoTown and WDAS in Philadelphia), and steeped in hip-hop (which is the music of her era), Fee has embarked on a style all her own. Fusing soul, hip-hop, acoustic, and of course GOSPEL music, she is swiftly becoming a force to be reckoned with on the live music circuit both in reality and virtually. By age 14, she became an eager life-long student of music and its various nuances. A member of an oft-performing three-girl singing ensemble while attending the prestigious Philadelphia High School for Girls or Girls' High. She knew that THIS is what she wanted to do. Performing and frequently being called on to lend vocals to various artists studio compilations and to ghostwrite since age 16, Fee is all at once a veteran and a consummate professional. Briefly managing Moses Livingston and the Raggamuffin Band, she quickly learned that an artist is also a business person, and has honed her business acumen on the streets of Philadelphia through local talent and in the indie circuit. Presently, Fee is bridging the gap between the Live Stage and the Virtual Live Stage by performing not only in "Brick and Mortar" venues, but within the virtual world Secondlife as FeliciaMarie Brim. Secondlife is a place where the real world meets the virtual one, and an artist can perform in 3 cities in one day!. This platform allows her to perform to culturally diverse audiences and has built her fan-base exponentially.
