Funta started as a last-moment mission - to fill the blank spot of "Feed The Fish" that cancelled their performence in a small young bands show which was organized by The 8th Star Youth Club. Yuval Brusilovsky, Yonatan Hadar and Daniel Trau, three young music students from The New Municipal High School in Herzeliya organized a Funk band from scratch, just in-time for the gig. Without rehersing, Funta got on stage and rocked everybody's sucks off at that night, playing a combination of groovy tunes that nobody's feet could resist to. During to the grand success of that show, the band decided to continue playing, and so it was. After many twists, turns and grooves, the band got to the updated line-up of a 7-piece Funk band, playing groovy as hell music from the creation of their twisted minds.Since that day, Funta has continued to work and play together as a band, and got to many accomplishments. They have recently won the Herzeliya band competition, and joined the I.Y.F(Indie Youth Funk) project.
