Starting in early 2006 as simply a jam band for college friends, The Great Transparency has evolved into a touring force, and fans have begun to take notice. Having performed over 600 concerts all over the country, allbeit as an unsigned band, they have continued to travel and share their positive and encouraging brand of pop rock for anyone who will listen. Nationally recognized artists such as Day Of Fire, Manic Drive, Eleventyseven, Me In Motion, Satellites & Sirens, and White Collar Sideshow have been just some of the acts that TgT have toured alongside, in addition to consistant touring on their own. More recently, the bands music hit the international airwaves, releasing two consecutive singles ("Run For It" and "Don't You Ever") to world-wide Christian radio, and are currently being played by several stations in The US, Canada, The UK, Peru, The Philippines, and more. While at home in the central Ohio area, the band serves as a go-to artist of sorts to attract a strong hometown feel whenever they are asked to perform in the buckeye state. Lastly, the central message of the band's music remains the same: to never give up on your dreams, put your full trust in God, and know that there is hope in this crazy world. You have something to live for! TgT has been featured in such publications as: C Magazine, JesusFreakHideOut.com, The Christisn Rock Report, HMmagazine.com, and more. Their latest EP, entitled "If Worse Comes To Worst", received high praise from JesusFreakHideOut.com, and was co-produced by C.R. Pendleton (John Reuben, MTV's Pimp My Ride) and Grammy nomiee and Dove award winner Barry Blair(of Audio Adrenaline). The band's single "Run For It" logged 15 consecutive weeks on ChristianRock.net's weekly Top 30 most requested songs, and "Don't You Ever" recently won Radio U's "Battle Of The Buzz" title for 2 consecutive nights, defeating powerhouse Pillar, and the DJ Maj project New Rebel Flag. The band is also prominantly featured on Rock For Life's Winter 2010 compliation cd, which is available nationwide.
