. .Second generation musician, my parents were itinerant folk singers in the 50's. After being exposed to music for all my childhood, I some how decided at the age of 17, that I could play this guitar thing really well. In 1985 I played my first concert, a solo acoustic folk gig, although I did whip out my 'lectric guitar to play some blues. In the nineties I was briefly in the 'Christian Deth-Metal' (!) band Synagogue. By the late nineties I had been relocated to central Michigan and I met and recorded the Douglas Cole album with Angie Chapko. www.gregwake.com tells that story. I am currently in the process of finishing the second album, which will be called "Unfulfilled Legacy" and is being marketed under the name Greg Robertson's WAKE since we found there were a couple other bands named WAKE but we really, for our own reasons, want to keep the WAKE monicker. As time goes by, I will get more music up here.
