‘Guitar Cat & the Prowlers’, a dynamic rockin’ power trio, have performed in the Salt Lake City and surrounding areas for over ten years. Singer, songwriter Brian Clark, the band’s front man and lead guitarist, along with drummer Eddie Sticks and bassist Buster Douglas, have rocked most major Salt Lake City clubs. Brian’s bluesy guitar style rings tones reminiscent of Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Johnny Winter. On occasion, you’ll catch them at one of Salt Lake City’s premier clubs ‘The Green Pig Pub’. They’ve also entertained at numerous private parties, biker rallies, conventions and Fairs all over Utah and Wyoming. Brian hales from San Diego where he immersed himself in the swing and rockabilly scene for several years. He also spent a year in Nashville, TN performing country music in the local nightclubs. After moving to Salt Lake City in 2001, Brian quickly latched onto local seasoned bassist Buster Douglas, who was in between bands at the time, and gifted drummer Eddie Sticks, a graduate of the famous Drum Institute of Technology in Los Angeles, CA. Eddie loves to twirl his sticks, and puts on quite show all by himself! Together they have performed steadily ever since, and have even logged in some recording studio time!
