For the last four years Hope Massive has been touring up and down the East Coast USA to Japan and back. Hope Massive has worked as supporting artist for such groups as Midnite, The Wailers, Damien Marley, Gregory Isaacs, Groundation, Toubab Krewe, The Gin Blossoms, Pato Banton, The Spam Allstars, Morgan Heritage, The Poncho Sanchez Latin Jazz Band, Israel Vibrations, Culture, Beres Hammond, The Mediations, Eek-a-Mouse, The Itals and blues legend Etta Baker. Hope Massive has performed at such festivals as Floyd Fest, The Asheville Music Jamboree (AM Jam), The Appalachian State University Jazz Festival, Hurricane Katrina Red-Cross Relief, Junaleska African Heritage Festival, Raleigh Downtown Live, Ziggy's Downtown Live and Camp Reggae. Formed in 2004, the international roots group Hope Massive is a rare blessing of roots and vintage dancehall music. Priding themselves on positive forward movement; rather than competition and instant success, a new foundation has been created between the five-piece band assembled from the areas most humble and respected musicians. Just like there music, Hope Massive demonstrates there ability to maintain positivity while mashing up the dance floor; delivering beautiful melodies, luscious harmonies and explosive lead lines to create a unique and original sound. The intensity of the rhythm section creates evocative grooves that cannot be denied by young-old, black-white, red-yellow, poor or wealthy. People music for the People. Hope Massive's creation was a true blessing, with members originating throughout the nation. Adding colorful personalities across the spectrum; they collectively linked up inna the mountains of Boone, NC, while attending Appalachian State University. Each member was involved with respectable music projects of there own even before the formation of Hope Massive that still exist to this day. With the common goal of Highya Meditation and making powerful music to influence the people through mind, body, and soul Hope Massive was born. Combining reggae, current and ancient events, vintage dancehall, rock, Latin jazz and other world music, Hope Massive has created a formula for a promising yet challenging mission...to make the people think, dance and feel through there music.
