  Hello there, my name is Danielle Mitchell. I'm originally from the San Francisco Bay Area but I moved to Los Angeles in 2006 to pursue my studies in film at California State University, Los Angeles. I've been a Southern Californian ever since.  For the most part I think when you tell people you're going to study film, they secretly think it's a joke. It's one of those majors that doesn't leave you with a good sense of job security. But at the end of the day if you're willing to study art, you are no stranger to struggles. I was always a creative young lady writing emotionally advanced poetry, creating songs with the hope of becoming the next TLC (I was the T-Boz of the group), painting magnificent masterpieces, and sewing unforgettable outfits. It wasn't until middle school that I began to develop my cinematic vision and realized that I had a desire to have a career in entertainment.  Whether it be making music or films, I find every aspect of those creative avenues extremely satisfying to my soul. They become an extension of my voice and heart that hopefully reach others to enjoy and inspire.
