These days it's hard out here for a rapper. Being lyrical is not enough. You have to make up the complete package. You have to look the part, act the part, and be the part. The girls have to love you and the guys have to want to be you. You have to have that swagger, energy, attitude and talent all combined into the perfect package to make today's rap star. And that's exactly what Jado brings to the hip-hop world. JADO was born Joshua Perry 28 years ago in Poughkeepsie, NY. He grew up hard, living with his single mother and cousins in Poughkeepsie, dubbed Power Kingdom. At 12 young Joshua’s mother moved him to Boston, MA. Living in the suburbs for a little while, Jado found it hard to adapt coming straight out of the ghetto. He was involved in many fights and kicked out many schools he attended. Joshua kept moving back and forth from Boston to NY. During that time Jado took to the streets of NY and Boston and started selling drugs. At the same time he began a new hobby: rapping, which soon became a major focus in the young hustler's life. The Boston hip-hop scene was just beginning to bubble and JADO wanted to be a part of it. By 1999, JADO caught the attention of the then growing independent label NME WRECKIDZ, based in Gloucester, MA. With NME, Jado was responsible for 2 solo albums and a couple of group album with the likes of 5th platoon and 108 Dragunz. During this time Jado was tagged as one of the hottest rappers coming out of Boston. One of his songs was picked for a movie called Kingston High. And another one of his songs gained a slot on a DVD called "Ghetto Fights" DVDs. which sold over 2 million copies. After running into trouble with the law in Boston, Jado moved back to NY for good. Here is where Top Flight Entertainment was born. Buying all his own equipment, Jado and his brother B.C decided to start their own independent label. Now producer, songwriter and artist jado is putting out his own original music through his own label. With titles like Texting, I Pray, Keep on hating and various others, Top Flight Entertainment Is starting to establish themselves as one of the hottest labels coming out of upstate NY. Top Flight is also linked with other labels such as Street Official Entertainment. Check out some of the songs at www.myspace.com\jado420 and the official website www.topflight518.com. After taking off time and establishing business plans, Jado will be dropping the first solo CD off of his label called ‘Keep On Hating’. This is expected to be a big album and is already well anticipated by a lot of fans through out the east coast. Even though Jado hasn't released an album in the past three years he hasn't been bored. He's been busy plotting and planning.”I am on my grind right now, I just been waiting to get everything I needed to start putting out my own work. If it was ever the time now is, and I am ready to come strong”.
