James Thomas Band History James Thomas Band After many years as a lead singer, for a Durham/Raleigh North Carolina cover band. James (Jerry) Thomas met his future band mates while working at the same recording studio in Charlotte, North Carolina. over twenty years ago. All three members of the band worked at the same recording studio. James' first album was produced by David Floyd with Pat Walters playing electric lead guitar. Their paths crossed many times, playing live shows with many other bands in the Charlotte area.
