After many years performing in local theatres & studios...after highschool...she found herself singing on the world famous Bourbon Street in New Orleans. It was there that she started feeling the influences of Aretha Franklin,Janis Joplin,Dusty Springfeild,Pat Benetar...all the classic rock & soul singers. ...

After 2 years of rocking in front of 100's of people on Bourbon,she then joined the world famous show band,Vince Vance & The Valiants. She began touring all over the US performing as Vandy Valiantette from 2003-2007. In December of '07 she did a USO tour w a band out of Nashville,TN for troops in Spain,Italy,& Germany. Finally...she decided to take the chance & move to Nashville,Tn to sing her original songs that she had been writing all her life...Jamie is currently still there working on writing her album & performing all over in Music City....so whether its the "hole in the wall" bar...or the biggest venue in town...watch out for this one...she's got it.
