About J.Ara YCE

Lenoir, NC

Born March 30, 1984, the young native Justun "J.Ara" Lynch has definitely claimed his spot in the hip hop community. From his deep but crafty lyrics, to his layed back rapid fire delievery, J.Ara has proven himself to be the future of hiphop. By being full of swag, but uniquely different, J.ara reaches out to audiences all across America. "I decided to embrace what alot of other artist hadn't, reality", he says. With a contraversal line up of topic choices, J.ara decided to rap passionately about the oppressed and overcoming. "I remember I was watching "American Gangster " staring Denzel Washington, and there was a scene where a mother had died from and overdose and her baby was beside her on the bed crying. I said to myself this is the unspoke of. I took that scene and mimic'd it", he recalled.
Coming from the old drug related streets of Lenoir N.C, J.Ara would do a year in a medium custody prison after being caught with a controlled substance in his possession. "I had a mother and a father at home to teach me what was right, but I had to learn the ways of doing bad on my on.", he says. It was in prison that J.ara would make his peace with God and begin strategizing and intricate blue print to invade the rap world and take it by storm. With songs like, "Born Survivor", "La La", and "Unbelievable", J.ara tackles issues of real life from Girls to drugs to death. With a conscience awareness of God, J.Ara's music definitely leaves you intrigued all the while bobbing your head.
