New York born Javier Bernard began his career in entertainment by skillfully eating a peach on camera for the world-renowned PBS television show Sesame Street. Bitten by the bug, he pursued his passion for performance throughout his formative years while also focusing on his education, waiting tables, filing papers, peddling clothes for GAP INC., and working on increasing the girth of his calf muscles. Though Javier's skills as a vocalist weren’t truly honed until he joined The Vineyard Sound, Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard’s Premier professional a cappella group. After leaving the group, and the world of New England a cappella FOREVER, he went on to record his own material with producer, engineer, performer, and affable Scotsman Roger Fife (Cyndi Lauper, Tricky, Massive Attack, Ruby Blue, Antony and the Johnsons). He is currently working on EVEN MORE music with various producers and DJ’s in order to crreate a debut album which will not include anything remotely resembling a cappella.
