Born twenty five years ago in Cleveland, Ohio the petite vocal powerhouse has been a starlet-in-training for as far back as he can remember. Her parents were both entertainers so it came as no surprise that J-Ames found himself onstage before he was enrolled in grammar school. J-Ames recalls watching his father’s endless rehearsals, witnessing his strive for perfection. “I was fascinated watching my father. As a kid my goal was to be just like him,” J-Ames remembers. At the age of 13 J-Ames learned to play the piano and by the age of 15 year J-Ames was signed on to Arista Records by La Reed. The young musician was soon opening for artist such as Day 26, American idol finalist achieved high in puffy's making his band competition Boys II Men, The Dazz Band and Gerald Levert. Recently J-Ames relocated to Atlanta, GA in pursuit of his dreams of becoming a global icon. J-Ames focuses on songwriting, producing, pursuing his dreams as an artist /writer/producer as well as being a vocal coach for newer artist in the industry.
