Justin Lee, better known to you as JayLee was bred in Cincinnati, OH and raised by his mother. As a child JayLee showed peaked interests for music, unlike most children he had desire and passion behind memorizing lyrics. At the tender age of six years with the help of a relative he completed his first rap, which was a starting point for his destiny; and made his first debut performance for his third grade class. To expand his horizons he began to DJ at the age of nine, in which he was crowned with title “The Youngest Professional DJ” in Cincinnati. Upon receiving his first keyboard the following year, JayLee immediately began to produce beats. By Junior High School he had begun performing in talent shows, after performing “Call It Drama” with his group 7-WoN (which included his brothers Y.T. and Sammy Lee) the group received lots of recognition, they hit the studio to record Hood Routes in 2004. This album opened the doors for the group to be opening acts at clubs such as The Ritz. Next was the release of their mixtape Fresh Out Tha Trenchez which debuted “Fa Sho” and “Laid Back”, they were able to expand their market by distributing their mixtape to peers at school. With 2005 came new changes, JayLee decided to work on his solo career. His single “Welcome-2-Cincinnati” (featuring Sirr Woo and Ill Money) hit the airwaves of 101.1 WIZF (then formerly 100.9 WIZF) which opened him up to the entire Cincinnati market. From then he has opened up for artists such as Chris Brown, Dem Franchise Boyz, Rick Ross, Tela, Yung Joc, among plenty others.
