JBJ is a young, urban, hip-hop group from Galveston County. Produced by super producer BC of Necronam Inc., they have made several hot hits including “Da Business”, “Giddy-Up”, “All My Ladies”, and their newest single “Swing”. In 2005, going by the name of S-O Ent., the group began their career of music for the first time. They began writing songs and performing original material for their peer and teachers. In 2008, they recorded their first single, “Giddy-Up”. Their first single swept the county and they began performing live. JBJ has performed at several events including Teen Night at Club Icon, Sweet Sixteen Parties, house parties and events, Galveston Idol, and they were invited to perform at Texas State University for the Epidemic Hip-Hop Show.“Our goal is to make an impact on the young generation and show them a positive way of life.” Says the group. JBJ consists of three members: J-Cove, J Star, and J Harr. “Grind Now, Shine Later” is their motto.
