"jDuZiT" Tha Hip Hop ARTist I started writing music, dancing and performing at age 12. Back then, I used to enter talent shows (dancing, rapping, free styling/cypher shows) every summer. It was a hot summer night in a car garage where I wrote my first rhyme song. I used to street dance, imitate Michael Jackson moves and sing in a group my three male cousins and I formed in hopes of one day making it big. We became fortunate to land a few local gigs, performing live in neighborhood events and a local uptown night club singing of all things. Back in high school, I joined the band as a snare and tenant drummer. At that time, I didn’t even know how to read sheet music. I begged the band instructor to give me a chance and once he did, I found myself part of the band! I picked up on every note by ear and became section leader over the snares. I feel like that movie "Drumline", was written and produced about me, the story of my life! Thus far, I have recorded a few home demos, collaborated with other artists of various genres and performed in various concerts on the road with my own band, "Alotta Flava". Recently I've recorded a few new songs (the ones here on this site, as well as a few others) with my cousins on their labels K.O.P (Knock Out Production), NFOCUS and Bad Habbit Entertainment. I've started my own marketing/collaboration business website, Meta4rikal Mindz, currently self employed and still chasing my creative dreams. My focus is to collab with other artists, make a name for myself and help a few others up the ladder along the way. I would like to form an all instrumental hip hop experimental band (something simular to The Roots and Black Eyed Peas) and finally release my first true complete collection/professional CD and Mp3s on iTunes.
