He proceeds to create complex interwoven layers of sound from an array of pedals and stomp boxes on the floor in front of him. You hear grooves, bass lines, percussion, and drums. Jean-Thomas' creations of complete musical sections appears right before your eyes. Armed only with an acoustic guitar, Jean-Thomas uses two quick feet to trigger an array of effects he uses to create and control an invisible orchestra. He slaps his guitar for a backbeat, picks the melody out on a couple of strings, scratches the low-strings with his pick for extra percussion and singing background vocals.
