As a songwriter, her strengths are notably lyrical composition as well as a knack for writing effective “hooks” which are memorable and pleasing to the listener. Her lyrics communicate delicate global themes expressed with simplicity and uplifting style. She performs live with her three piece band or solo, accompanying herself on both acoustic guitar and piano. Jennifer is currently back in the studio, recording her second album produced by Philip A. Jimenez. When not in the studio, writing, or performing, Jennifer helps children and adults with Autism and other disabilities communicate through music, organizes and directs concerts for the disabled in the NYC area, and is a guest lecturer at Columbia and Downstate Universities about Autism and the benefits of music in rehabilitation.
