About my life I used to drag my Dad's old 70,s stratocaster around on the floor when I was a kid, and always wanted to learn how to play growing up. About my life I used to drag my Dad's old 70,s stratocaster around on the floor when I was a kid, and always wanted to learn how to play growing up. But it wasn't until later on in life I met an ex-studio guitarist that moved in from out of the area that taught me the basics and I kept going back every once in awhile to learn more and more. I drug my Dillion acoustic around everywhere, even strapping it to the sissy bar of my Harley a couple times. I couldn't play or sing well yet. Everyone thought I was "nuts". My parents and my brother have been active with the 'benefit rides' on the bikes over the years and with there own trouble. This all had alot of influence on my first song 'Highway Blues' Over the years I wrote more while struggling with a couple tough relationships and losing a step daughter in a car accident.I played at open mics for awhile with a seat belt as a guitar strap on my guitar. I worked for four years at a local Cathlic School for boys as an Education Aid. Most of them were from inner city areas. They used to call me there 'ol hed' and showed me the music they listened to. It was a joke quite a bit. I tried to help this one kid that had some raw talent but he went down hill. We ended up in a couple situations with him and he was shipped out. The job taught me how fortunate I was and a lot about life. I record and play out now and spend most of my time perfecting my different style of playing and competing in local NEPA idol competitions and county fairs. I'm a true blue tear it up rocker, but do the acoustic thing solo.
