Unlike any ... A few years ago - more by coincidence than by design - I came across the possibilities of computer assisted working with music but did not realise at that time the impact this coincidence would have on my musical creativity. It was an experience totally unlike any other that I have had during my musician existence as guitarist. Suddenly, it was possible for me to involve multiple musical instruments at the same time without the need to have a large number of musicians in the studio to record instruments for which I don't have the skills. As a result of this omnipresence of virtual instruments, I was now able to really give my creativity free reign, no matter whether it is the introduction of a new idea or to further develop it. With this, I could now explore musical genres that - due to circumstances - up until this point had for me not been possible. Because only now was I able to incorporate virtual string and brass instruments, only now was I able to compose pieces of music from classical orchestral style through to film sound track music. In the "jjjack" project I operate mainly in the electronic genre of dance floor music and the sound track sector. With the aid of drum beats that lie in the range of forcefully hard through to soft and smooth, I achieve, by interlacing various sounds or digitalized instruments - also electronically generated, an almost infinite quantity of sound variations that I can incorporate into my sound tracks. enjoy it jjjack 2009 ------------------------------------ German Version Anders als... Als ich vor einigen Jahren - mehr zufällig als gewollt - auf die Möglichkeiten beim computergestützten Arbeiten mit Musik gestoßen bin, war mir zu diesem Zeitpunkt nicht bewusst, welche Auswirkungen dieser Zufall, auf mein musikalisches Schaffen haben wird. Es war eben eine ganz andere Erfahrung als die, die ich in meinem bisherigen Musikerleben als Gitarrist gemacht hatte. Plötzlich war es für mich möglich, zur selben Zeit viele Musikinstrumente nebeneinander einzusetzen ohne dass es nötig war, eine größere Anzahl von Musikern in ein Studio zu bringen um Instrumente einzuspielen, die ich selbst nicht beherrsche. Durch die Omnipräsenz der Menge an virtuellen Instrumenten konnte ich nun meiner Kreativität im großen Stil freien Lauf lassen, egal ob es nun darum geht eine neue Idee umzusetzen oder sie weiter zu entwickeln. Wodurch ich nun auch in musikalische Genres vordringen konnte, deren klangliche Umsetzung - aufgrund der Gegebenheiten – mir bisher nicht möglich waren. Weil es mir nun erstmals Möglich war virtuellen Streich- und Blechblasinstrumenten einzubinden, konnte ich nun auch erstmals Musikstücke im Stile von klassischen Orchesterstücken bis hin zur Filmmusik komponieren. Mit dem Projekt "jjjack" bewege ich mich hauptsächlich im elektronischen Genre der Dancefloor music und im Soundtrack Bereich. Mittels Drumbeats, die im Spannungsbereich von kraftvoll hart bis soft & smooth sind, erreiche ich durch das Einflechten von verschiedenen - ebenfalls elektronisch erzeugten Klängen oder digitalisierten Instrumenten - eine nahezu unendliche Menge an Klangvariationen, die ich in meinen Tracks einsetze. enjoy it jjjack 2009
