The multi talented R&B and Bass line artist Jodie Aysha has been on the music scene since the age of 12, she started by writing her own songs at the age of 8 and working on tracks with different producers and artists. She was introduced to singing and song writing at such an early age that it was destined for her to be a success, at the tender age of 11 Jodie had two poems published by Leeds young authors due to her unique writing style. After leaving theatre school Jodie took a gap year to pursue her dream of becoming a successful singer/songwriter. Soon afterwards, one of her songs entitled ‘ Heartbroken’ which was subsequently remixed started bubbling on the baseline scene. The remixed track became very popular on the underground scene and became a dancefloor hit in clubs from Leeds to Ibiza.The track caught the attention of the record industry and ‘Heartbroken’ was signed and released in late 2007 reaching number 2 in the UK charts, only to be held off by X factor winner Leona Lewis. Jodie is currently working on a new album with a French composer and her new single 'Pozer' will be released later this year. Jodie Aysha also has a publishing deal with Sony ATV and is a great songwriter. Look out for new live dates on this site (you may have seen Jodie on the Clublands tour and at Radio One shows?)
