FIRSTLY let me make people aware that I am the ORIGINAL JOHNNY RAMONE - Equity registered in 1965 . The other guy simply "borrowed my name without even asking" in 1974 when the Ramones were formed in the USA. Sadly he is now demised but I am VERY MUCH ALIVE!!!! I was making top ten hits in Europe on the Telstar label long before The Ramones punk band were even formed. People keep asking why cant we book Memphis Katz these days? The answer to their question is simple. I formally disbanded MEMPHIS KATZ after some eleven successful years touring in the USA. the UK, and Europe. However, I am thrilled to say that I have now decided to return to live music again and the name of my new act is LOS AMIGOS, we will work as a m/f vocal instrumental act with GINA MADISON joining as lead female vocalisT. An added attraction to the show is presented by the gorgeous Hollywood movie star MELITA MORGAN (Star of Mister Lonely with James Fox). Melita presents her much acclaimed Tributes to Madonna and Marily Monroe and other divas of stage and screen. Other shows I am appearing in are - TWO'S KOMPANIE with the beautiful DONNA AFRICA - her dance and song tribute to the greatest King of the Zulu's (SHAKA ZULU) is awe inspiring with authentic Zulu war costumes and weapons. HONKY TONK NITES - Country and Rock 'n Roll at it's best with Gina Madison, Melita Morgan and myself. HITZ OF THE BLITZ - Gina and Melita performing and singing the greatest songs of WW2 in full authentic uniforms and civilian dress of the era. I chip in with songs and uniforms of the American Allies. MUSICAL COCKTAIL - Gina and Melita bring you all your favourite Music Hall song and dance numbers plus best loved songs of the 1940's and 1950's. All these shows can cover the whole evening - we provide quality Disco sounds between our live sets and always have the best state of the art sound and audience friendly lighting - PAT tested and fully insured.
