Joseph Robinson has been a life long resident in Anchorage since 1979. Although he has traveled to and fro throughout the earth this has been his home. Joseph Robinson has been a life long resident in Anchorage since 1979. Although he has traveled to and fro throughout the earth this has been his home. Born to Joseph, Janet Robinson and raised by his grandparents Dr Rev Alonzo and Shirley Patterson he was brought up in the church. During the years of 1995-2002 Joseph lived the life of individual whom didn’t know where he was going in life. He was intrigued by stealing, drugs, pornography and other things of that nature. During this time Joseph ended up having and child out of wedlock and was sure it was time to settle down to break the curse of the dead beat father. He got married in 2001 the same year his son RaeJuana Robinson was born. As with marriage sometimes brings other children as part of the package he also had to assist with caring for two other children whom their fathers had left them for reasons unknown. In the year of 2002 Joseph ended up in a really bad car accident due drinking and driving and almost killed himself along with former spouse. During this time of healing God spoke to Joseph and told him it was time make a change for the better and to truly give his life to him. Due to the fact that I spare you Joseph it’s time for you to give your life for my sake. Joseph took this to heart and starting making minor adjustments and watched God make the major ones. Although he had this revelation from God it takes part in his former spouse. They continued to go through turmoil because no change had taken place on her behalf. While she was in out of prison he ended up taken care of the children by himself for months at I time. “I had to honor God by forgiving and letting go” he said in a recent interview. During the year of 2007 Joseph was deployed to Iraq and served a year with the 297th support battalion. He was awarded several awards and progressed in leadership among the ranks of the US ARMY. After returning in 2008 Joseph was led to make some changes in his life and filed for separation of his former wife. He commented “this was the toughest battle I had ever gone through in my life, considering most people who are divorced are looked upon as a low life but I knew God had something different to say about me”. Joseph has moved on from that old life and is now a the owner and operator of Anointed Ice Creams and Christ Grown inc. He currently works for the 93.7 KAFC as promotions Director and has Released his self titled album ‘GROUND ZERO because he carried me. Joseph is currently working on his degree in business administration and looking to grow stronger in the lord
