I was born in Angeles City, Republic of the Philippines on Nov. 10 1981. I was the first daughter of Lourdes and Kyle Hammitt. My mother is a Philippine national and my father was in the Navy stationed at Clark AFB. I grew up in a household mottled by music as my father work for the Armed Forces Radio and Television Services. My mother is a Philippine national and my father was in the Navy stationed at Clark AFB. I grew up in a household mottled by music as my father work for the Armed Forces Radio and Television Services. I started to teach myself guitar at age fourteen and began writing my own music when I was sixteen. After high school I joined the US Air Force where I continued to play and write my music. I performed for troops in the desert after 9/11 where I was a recreation aid. Even after the Air Force I have continued to sing, write, and play for it is what I love... the connection we can all have through the power of music.
