Like her mother, she would sing for anybody that would listen and would be singing at church every Sunday. By the age of 16 she won her first talent contest in Hurley, Virginia. After a long hiatus from singing she has gone through a re-igniting of her performance career with a fervor and passion that has sparked a local and International sensation. Katie is a American Vet injured during Operation Enduring Freedom who actively participates in charity events for American Cancer Society as well as other to include vets,hospice and others.
