Keith Carpenter

I've been a musician for a very long time now. I decided to try to play everything I could get my hands on, since I was a kid. I always played in rock bands, but my heart has always been in the acoustic mode. I have always had a passion for bluegrass, and fast riffing on an acoustic instrument. I was fortunate enough to do an interview with Bill Monroe for a college term paper, and being in the presence of a legend, you can see first hand what music does for others and yourself.After years of frustration, I finally decided to leave the bar scene, and record a CD on my own. Through the use of technology, and all I have learned on many instruments, I feel it's time to finally put it together for all to listen to. This has been quite a journey, with a lot of ups and downs, and a very long way to go. I want everything that I have been exposed to, breathe through my hands and music. I believe my true style has evolved with this project,and I have tried to explore and use all the influences I have been exposed to throughout the years on this CD. I've always believed in never excepting just okay. Follow your dreams. Thanks to all who have supported, or inspired me to do this
