Kenny Rhoads ( formaly known as Kennith Wayne) has won many singing competitions throughout his life and has experienced many other competitions on a national level such as American Idol , Nashville Star and CMT's Can You Duet?. Kenny has taken the stage from California to Tennesse, some places you might remember are California State Fair , Stanislaus County Fair , The Oklahoma Opry , Country Fever 2007 , The Rodeo Opry OK , Paradise City , Riverwind Casino , The Great Oklahoma State Fair , Club Buck Wild in Nashville , 12th and Porter Nashville , Douglas Corner Nashville , Wild Horse Saloon Nashville to name a few. After only a few weeks from adding their new music to myspace The Kenny Rhoads Band quickly rose to the #2 unsigned band in the state of Oklahoma and in the top 100 nationwide. The band is currently holding their position and working hard to become #1 everywhere! Kenny Rhoads is a star and on his way to becoming a house hold name nationwide. Kenny is working with some of Nashville's biggest producer's and companies on putting out and album with songs that will without a doubt become hit's everywhere. Kenny talks highly of his band and is very proud of how dedicated everyone is to becoming one of the most talked about act's in country music. Some of Kenny's influence's are Garth Brooks , Big & Rich , Eric Church, Jason Aldean , Freddy Fender , Hank Williams Jr. , Merle Haggard , George Strait , AC/DC , Guns n Roses , Casting Crowns , Pillar , Disciple just to name a few. Kenny's biggest influence is his mom and dad. Kenny's mom , Amber Rhoads (once known as Amber Newnam) is also a country music singer and has had songs played on over 100+ radio stations across the country when she sang in the band once known as The Sasakwa Oklahoma Band which was made up of Kenny's mom , and other family member's. Kenny is very proud of his families musical talent's. Kenny dedicates his music to his dad "Fast Eddie" who died Dec 29th , 2008 trying to save his mother when their house caught fire. Kenny planned on sponsoring his dad's hobby which was racing sprint cars once he became a big star. Kenny Rhoads gives credit where credit is due and thanks God for all the lesson's he has learned and the blessing's he has recieved.
