Many strange and coincidental occurances happened to bring the two main members together. Skip Bryant was touted as a drum prodigy at the age of 15 in his native Connecticut. He turned down major tours at this young age to stay home with his sick mother. Time goes by, he moves to Vegas, finds drum gigs scarce and then switches to bass guitar which he still plays to this day. He had near misses with the big time on two different ocassions,once with a Christian rock band and once with a soul band. Due to elements out of his control in each band, these projects folded. Greg Hixson played in various cover bands in the Orlando area, each time any of his bands started getting a lot of attention, the same sort of elements (Being kind to protect the guilty) raised their ugly head. In a strange twist of fate a mutual friend invited Greg to play in his jam band on what would have been Skip's last night with the same band. As you can see the two should have never connected, and even stranger, coming from diverse cultural backgrounds , they should have never connected musically as both were basically hired guns. They found through much discussion during breaks that they had very much in common, both musically and in life experience, so they decided to experment in writing and recording a song together, this went so well that five months later they found themselves with a completed album. And with what they would like to think of as a unique sound, with Skip's urban- soul roots, and Greg's long-haired rocker style mixing into what they describe as "NEW" CLASSIC ROCK. The music has a minimlist attitude, doing only what each song called for, instead of today's normal practice of layer upon layer of instruments until the original idea is no longer recognizable.
