K has truly transformed the way this world looks at the conventional American dream. "It's like she was moving straight forward in the direction on her dreams. She focused on what was ahead, and ignored everything else that surrounded her. It was astonishing and a bit scary that such a young girl had so much drive and independence." - SR IT WAS NEVER EASY - Kristyn's extreme drive and dreams made her a social outcast amongst her peers. The typical family insists on their child pursuing a successful high school and promising college direction. She was looked down upon and picked on as a child by those who believed music was an unreachable task. It was difficult for her to mentally block opinions of those who did not understand her career choice and she soon found herself fighting for her reputation. "She never quite fit in" Listening to the ignorance was fuel for her fire. In the matter of 3 months, Kristyn turned her artistry into a selling product. She began performing for some of the most well-known events including Edaville's Historical National Music Festival and Macy's national "Shop For a Cause" Charity Fundraiser. More recently around Boston, Kristyn has gig at venues including McFadden's, AnTain, Harpers Ferry, and FELT. She is currently going nationwide. Her music was what set her apart from other artists in her area. All self-written, she sang of simple situations over upbeat dance tracks. She began working with Ric Poulin of Bristol Studios, who produced a sound that fit her exact vision. Together, they created her two most famous singles, "Don't Make it Tonight," and "Someone's Getting Hurt." Within weeks, her songs were spun at some of the hottest clubs from Boston down to Miami and made its way onto Saturday night's national radio show, "Club Kiss," which broadcasted on Boston's 1 Hit Music Station, Kiss 108fm. Today, Kristyn is now focused more than ever on her career. Her savvy and liberated personality is promising and closely watched by some of the most powerful individuals in the business. She is currently recording a new album and looking to be shopped at the beginning of the 9th year. Keep an eye out for this one. She is truly unstoppable.
