Kymberly Bryson is a breath of fresh air bursting with personality. With a sound she declares “country with a taste of blues” she has spent ten years entertaining in live bands, and as a solo artist in Nashville.
Kymberly grew up in Warren, Michigan listening to the Gospel sounds of her mother, and Motown. But, it didn’t take long for artists like Trisha Yearwood and Martina Mcbride to capture her attention and spark her interest in country music. At age 15 Kymberly started competing in talent competitions, which led her to win Best Female Vocalist in 1996 at the Hoover Roadhouse in Michigan. In 1999 Kymberly moved to Nashville, to the heart of Country Music, ready to take her chances as a performer
Opening for artists such as T. Graham Brown, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, and Sammy Kershaw she has been crafting her life performance preparing herself for the big stage . Like other artists, chasing their dream in Nashville and working for pennies, Kymberly has spent many nights performing at legendary music venues such as Legends, The Stage, Second Fiddle, Fiddle & Steel Guitar Bar, and The Broken Spoke.
Three of the seven songs on her recently completed self titled CD are originals and will soon be available on iTunes.
Kymberly has many projects in the works including hosting a live T.V. music show and is currently performing as a lead vocalist with the band “Beacon Hill”.
“Nashville is known as the 8 to 10 year city,” says Kymberly, “I’ve been here 10 years. I feel it’s my time to shine more than ever before. God has blessed me with talent and I feel fortunate I get to take what I’ve been blessed with and share it with the world.”
