As a young kid: you would wake up, go to school, play with friends if you have a life, and you'd continue to grow and develop with time. Maybe, I'm just the weird one who would always listen to music, and come home to blast Electronic music on the speakers. My young musical ear grew up with Darude, ATB, DJSammy, and other known artists that once had their peak long ago. I wish I knew what it was, but it hit me one day while I was listening as usual to my music. I wanted to know how to make this stuff, I wanted to know how music works and understand it better, and most importantly, I wanted to make better music. To be quite frank, my first reason that this thought of making music came to my mind, is because I was fed up with music that didn't have melody, rhythm, and a sense of unique beat. (I thought it sucked) Obviously as a younger kid, I had no idea what these things were called, but I did know that something was missing. I started writing music when I was 16. I don't know what made me keep trying to write music, but I had this urge and desire to do it. All I could remember is the same thought I had in my mind when I was younger, and that I wanted to do it. At 16 I had the knowledge of how to use a computer and programs better, and so I gave it a shot. I gave up 3 times in a month's period before I finished my first song. Might I add, it was a horrible song! It was not in sync with the beat, and I used mainly sequencers (And we all know how talented you have to be to hold a note down). All I had was my computer keyboard as a midi device to record the notes I wanted to play. I began to realize that this isn't as easy as I thought it would be, and a lot of time and effort is going to have to go into this. 2 years go by since I started, and people start to pick up my music and actually enjoy it. I always have this thought in my mind that I have a mistake in the song and someone would hear it, or that someone would listen and think it's poorly made. But I went for it anyways, and I released m y first album with the old style I used to write in. To this day, that album has made 13 dollars and 79 cents. I thought to myself, something isn't working here. So I spent the recent year studying, learning, and listening with heart to the music of the professionals. I go and continue to go to music theory, and take lessons from one of the greatest teachers I know around. I fought my mind that always told me my music isn't good, and I build my confidence that my music, is my music. I fought my parents who told me that my head was in the clouds, and that I need to get real. I'm not in it for what many artists are in it for, I simply love writing music. Whether people like it or not, that's their problem, because I know my audience, and I've picked up on what they like. As of today, I'm 18 years old and I finished my second album which is yet to be released. I started the new name of Kyro which I changed back in November of 2008 from "DJ EagleGTx", and my music seems to be climbing to the charts. I am hoping that someone will see my efforts, and from the crowd of millions, a new artist will arise. Until then, I wait.
