Lady Khadija

Lady Khadija is a musician, activist, vocalist, advocate, visionary, crochet artist, poet and educator. Her talents include performance poetry, playwriting, song writing, digital design, radio broadcasting, jewellery making and fashion design. She has shared the stage with such phenomenal artist as Talib Kweli, Tony Award winning, 7time HBO Def Poet Georgia Me, Canadian Smash Ember Swift, Watusi Tribe, Harry Belafonte, and HBO Def Poet Abyss. An effortless fusion, art with advocacy and activism, she is founding member of 144k, a collective of artists/activists and WordSound Alliance a network of artists re-examining the role of art, music, and performance in relation to real- world events.
