The Texas Music Project is a statewide initiative founded by the 501(c)(3) Social Marketing Resource Center with a mission of restoring and strengthening music education in Texas schools. TMP has distributed music education grants benefiting a projected 700,000 students in Texas public schools, generated over $1.5 million in publicity value for its cause; and has released the critically-acclaimed "Don't Mess with Texas Music" CD series.
