About Lauren Busheikin

Edmonton, Canada

"Lauren Busheikin is the kind of performer who takes you by surprise. Her demeanor is humble and unassuming but her talent is nothing short of jaw dropping. She sings with heart and soul, and delivers a memorable performance that holds an audience from start to finish." -Rhea March, Founder - U22 Music Productions----- Lauren Busheikin came into this world as a performer. Beginning with eleven years as a member of The Young Canadians of the Calgary Stampede, Lauren performed each year at the Stampede's Grandstand Show for an audience of up to 20,000 each night of the ten night outdoor production. The group focused on several singing and dancing styles and, in addition to the Stampede each year, was involved in many smaller shows and performances within Calgary. She began taking private lessons in her early teens and studied styles ranging from Classical and Opera to jazz and pop. After taking a year of science courses at the University of Alberta, Lauren realized that her true passion was singing and performing. She auditioned for and was accepted to the music program at Grant MacEwan University in Edmonton, Alberta. Lauren studied voice, performance, songwriting and composition in her three years at MacEwan. Now she performs at various clubs and restaurants in Edmonton singing jazz music. In addition to that, she recently completed her debut album, "We Love", a collection of her original pop/folk music written over the past few years. She truly is an up-and-coming artist not to be missed! For more information, visit
