I've been writing and singing for almost 20 years. I've done the whole star search thing, cover band thing, nationally competing choir thing... and now I'm ready to do MY OWN thing. My songs are written from the heart and reflect a part of myself. I think that's the most difficult part of being an original song writer, you, the audience, aren't only critiquing my voice, but my LIFE, and my ability to convey it to you. In turn, you get to judge the inner most moments of a person, you know, the ones YOU write in a journal, or hide in the darkest parts of your memory. Us songwriters, not only share it with you, we yell it from the rooftops (or tattered open mic stages) in hopes to help you relate and address your own moments. So don't think of it as I'm sitting on a stage singing at you, I'm really just sitting in the middle of a room, singing/laughing/yelling/crying WITH you.
