I've been brought up on the old school to the new school and that's why I have a true appreciation for all types of music. I’m listening to, dancing to, singing, or composing music. Music has been a big part of my life since I was two years old. Everyone in my family is talented in the art of music in some way. Some of us play instruments, some of us can read and write music, some of sing/rap, and some of us have a natural rhythm to music. I was blessed to be able to do all of these. I intend to utilize all my talents, so I can show my appreciation to GOD for giving me these blessings. They will NOT go to waste. 7/30/1988…. A star is born. Ever since I was two, I was pushed to sing. I would watch my mother in the studio recording and see passion for her dream. I remember I was in the car on my way back to Texas from Mexico with my grandfather and mother and he asked me what I wanted to be, I knew from that moment that I wanted to follow in the footsteps of my mother and become a singer. I admired my mother so much. She works so hard for what she wants and she’s so persistent and after seeing her drive, I knew that I wanted to be an entertainer. So today, I have my mind made up. I know what I want to do and will let NOTHING stand in my way. I feed off all positive energy and take the negative and use it to push me even harder. I would like to be an entertainer, but still have a “normal” life. I want my privacy and I would like to be able to go places with my family still without being disturbed or attacked. It's NOT about the money with me, I just want to sing. I love to sing and there's nothing like waking up to a job you enjoy doing. I want to be the person who does it all. I want to do Rock n’ Roll, Rhythm and Blues, Hip Hop, Jazz, and a little Classical all together. I want to be the person who thinks outside the box and is not afraid to go out on a limb even if they think there is a chance no one will like it. And as for my character, I would like to keep the qualities that were instilled in me as a little girl. I never want to be the one who competes or tries to prove that their better, or just simply never try to prove anything. I would like to do what I love doing the most and that is sing. It’s so easy to say you will, so I always say that “I would like to” because you never know, but I would like to stay humble and never forget the times that I didn’t have much. That’s why I thank GOD for my struggles because the blessing will be so much sweeter. I want to always keep my family in my life and most of all help others. “To whom much is given, much is required.” - LOVE LuckyCharms aka LC Sounds like: LC!, but I have been compared to Aaliyah & Ciara [a lot!] =/ Style is like: LC!, but if I have to choose a few favorites I'll go with... Nicole Scherzinger, Ciara, Aaliyah, Keri Hilson. I have very many styles & a unique voice. I hear a song in my head and if I hear a soft breathy voice for the song, that's how I will sing & if I hear a strong church or cross-over voice for the song, that's how I will sing.
