Hi everyone, I would like to introduce myself... My name is LeeAndrew Bray. I'm 26 years old, a U.S. Army Soldier, a musician and a performing songwriter. I am married to Amanda, the most wonderful woman in the world. I am the proud parent of two beautiful boys and I enjoy writing and playing music. I've played guitar for almost twelve years and written songs for ten. I've played in numerous bands and varying styles of music. I used to be a member of the Southern Limits Band and Babe's Bayou from the Atlanta, Georgia area. I've also shared the stage with artists such as CatchPenny, Gene Watson, Rhonda Vincent, Charlie Daniel's Band and members of Gretchen Wilson's band. I was playing in some rough old honky tonk bars, local festivals, fairs and everywhere in between until one day I kind of just "woke up" so to speak and stopped living that wild life. Those getting off stage at 3 a.m. mornings weren't cutting it too well... So here it is...My first step is to record the best album possible and to create songs that people can relate to and feel...just as if they were in my shoes painting that same picture that I try to display. My ultimate goal is to become a successful song writer and get my songs recorded by major artists and played on mainstream radio. I would love to write professionally and make a full time career out of songwriting someday but wherever this road leads is where I'll end up...what a crazy ride it is already... You see, God put a musical calling on my life that I've always tried to run from...just like anyone else...that is, until now. I'm recording my singer/songwriter album so that the world can see what God has done for me and how my life has been changed. I write, perform, produce, and record all of my own music and I'm always open for something new and different such as collaborations or cowrites, etc. Here's a little resume`... I was chosen as the Georgia Country and Gospel Music Association's 2005 "Songwriter of the Year', the "Horizon Award Winner" and the North American Country Music Association International's 2006 & 2007 Male Entertainer of the Year. I then deployed to Iraq to do my part to fight for our freedom that we all take for granted... Being enlisted in the Army, I've played at Ft. Knox Kentucky, Ft. Leonard Wood Missouri, Missouri's Iowa Chapel, Ft. Lewis, Washington, Joint Base Balad, Iraq, Kuwait, and all around the southeast United States. I recently returned to the United States from Iraq and I'm headed back home to be with my family soon. I am writing and preparing to finish my debut singer/songwriter album "Drive" whenever I return home in 2010. The album will be available in late 2011, (I'm shooting for June/July) and it will be a mixture of country, gospel, bluegrass, and Americana styles. I look forward to meeting new people and networking to further my career in the music business as a songwriter/performer and to help others acheive new heights. I'm all about the song of life that we all live and lending a hand... Thanks for the opportunity that you have given and for lending me your eyes and ears!!!! God bless!!! -LeeAndrew Bray
