Born in the former Soviet Union, he immigrated to the United States and spent most of his childhood in West Palm Beach, Fl. His life seems like the cliché rags to riches story, but considering the genre of music he represents, Lejend’s background is one of a kind. His image is far from the stereotypical rap artist but after taking a listen to his music, his appeal is in a sense magnified by what many would call “incongruence” between his sound and his appearance. Incessantly referring to himself as the “First Russian Rapper”, he creates a shock value in the market and among listeners, who are not only surprised with his nationality but are pleased with his music and originality. Lejend and his hard working promotion teams are currently initiating large scale promotion covering the whole southeast region from Miami to Atlanta. His new Mixtape "Russian Roulette" incorporates instrumentals from well known underground producers Justin Kahler (AOR Productions) , King Dave, & Embassy “The Hitmaker” who have all marketed instrumentals to famous rappers, & R & B groups such as T.I., Pretty Ricky etc...
