Taking up their roots in central Georgia, LifeVow has been around for quite some time. Since September of 06', L.V. has been rocking out for Christ in every place they can get to. Formerly under the names of P.D.A. and Fallen Short, the band began with Scott Watson on the guitar, Wesley Dowdy on the drums and vox, and Justin Passmore on the bass. That was the lineup for a couple of months until issues within the band called for a new bassist and Jacob Shiver stepped into the scene. Since then, Olivia Smith has also joined the group playing keyboard, along with Thomas Tucker doing vocals. Now, Scott, Wesley, Olivia, Jake and Thomas set to work writing and playing music with one main goal in mind: to spread the word of Christ through song. After many months of hard work and practice, LifeVow got their first show at the Taylor County Relay for Life in 2007. Since then, they've played many other shows and also at churches. With their unique sound and changing song types, it's hard to label them under one genre other than Christian. With a wide variety of music interest between each of the four band mates, no one song is ever the same as the other. After many broken strings, drums sticks, arguments, hard times, and song failures, LifeVow is alive and ready to go. In the Fall/Winter of 2007, they walked into the doors of 478 Studios to record their first E.P. under the leadership of Daniel Watson, guitarist of Dirty Dirty. The 7 track E.P. is available by request for $10. Since then, L.V. has been gathering as many shows as possible in order to spread their music and of course their message to anyone who would listen. Be sure to look out for these up and coming Jesus freaks as they're sure to be playing near you soon.
