Lindsey has been singing for as long as she can remember. Her mom is a really talented singer and did a lot of singing at Philippi Baptist Church in Johnston, South Carolina and Lindsey learned a lot by listening to her mom. Lindsey was raised on classic rock, old Motown music, big ballad singers like Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey, and classic country music.
Lindsey found out that both she and her brother had an ear for harmonies. Lindsey, her brother and mom are constantly singing together. Lindsey played trumpet for 6 years in school, which is how she learned to read music, played flute for three years, and has been teaching herself piano.
Lindsey became tired of band in the tenth grade and decided to leave it for the choir. She had a great time, discovered she was pretty good, and went to All-State choir for South Carolina students in 2008. She attended USC in Columbia for a year and a half beginning 2008, and majored in Spanish, but got homesick, and burnt out and went back home.
Lyndsey is currently working full-time at a telecommunications company, and is now singing as a part of the 308 family!
